My profile picture is super small... help?

I just uploaded a new Facebook picture, and I had to crop out almost all of it so it's only me visible. But now since there's so much white space, it makes my profile picture tiny. How do I fix this? Thanks!!!

if you have editor for images resize image to larger size, or try new image, for example if canvas is 2x2" but image is only 1x1", you can resize image to 200% size and crop/ cut white border off, also may depend on resolution for clarity,
