they are not "looking for" any kind of answers... personality tests are meant to give you some understanding of yourself based on your honest answers... if you answer as you think they want you to, there would be no validity to the results

tests like that will often also ask the same question worded differently in different sections of the test... this is meant to check your consistency...

if the results of a test like that don't give you a better understanding of yourself, you likely weren't as honest with yourself as you could be

employers may use tests like this to gain insight into a prospective employee and sometimes even determine if that person is a good fit personality-wise.. work skills aren't all that is important

i don't know?
try it and find out for yourself
There is no 'wrong' answer
honest answers!

trying to trick psychometric tests often gives worse results than answering truthfully and many contain questions to see if you are lying
Honest answers.

However, check for the "lie" questions - they all have them - such as "do you get angry?", or "have you ever had an argument?". Answer no to those and (I'm assuming this is for employment) you're not getting a foot in the door.
They are not LOOKING for any kind of answer...it's a test to find insight into yourself...there's no right or wrong answer.
They are not really "tests" but rather questionaires designed to give insight into your self-understanding, your motivations, your views, and your perceptions.

You are not "graded" or judged, but rather evaluated based on the consistency of your answers.

Employers especially want to see if you are a good fit with them for the position.
